I m 27 years old female working in an office environment. One of my co-workers told that another male co-worker is taking pictures of me. She saw that male coworker taking picture of me when I was walking by.
I informed this to our HR and unfortunately, by the time reached out to him it was his last day at work. But HR was able to speak to him and also checked his work and personal phones. HR didn t find any picture of me in neither of his phones.
I still believe he did take pictures of me but now he is gone from the company. Our IT has his work phone now.
Note: He said, he never took pictures, he was just doing FaceTime. Also, he never shared any pictures of me with anyone in the office or social media.
Please answer these question to help handle this situation.
1. Should I ask our HR to look into his work phone again? maybe there is some evidence in his iCloud account.
2. Can I still press charge on him and take him to the court?
3. What is the LAW in the US for taking pictures of a female coworker in the office?
Please give me your best advise.
